PLAN ENHANCEMENTS IN 2022
We are pleased to share we are enhancing our family forming benefit programs as well as tutoring and college admission assistance this year:
Fertility Benefits
At Marvell, we know fertility journeys are unique and are never one-size-fits-all. That’s why we increased our fertility benefits to cover 2 cycles of coverage through Kaiser and Anthem.
- Through Kaiser, you have access to various fertility resources such as integrated care with a trusted support team, high-quality medicine, and state of art fertility centers. View these flyers to learn more information and to understand what services are covered.

Adoption & Surrogacy
Building a family is a special time in any parents’ life and often unpredictable. This year we are increasing our benefits to $10,000/child adopted and $10,000/year towards surrogacy expenses. Whether you plan for a small or large family, Marvell is here to support your needs.

Care.com Program Enhancements
- Addition of a College Admissions Support Program: We understand the college admission process can be stressful and many students may not know where to find answers to their questions. We are excited to add CollegeVine, an online platform that helps students and their families navigate the complex college admissions process. Through CollegeVine students can receive expert tips on essays, applications, financial aid forms, and more!
- Addition of a Personal Network for Backup Child and Adult Care: Use your own Personal Network of care providers for Backup Adult and Child Care. Request care in advance or same-day!
- Changes to Tutoring services: With Care.com’s On-demand Tutoring benefit, students enjoy 24/7 access to professional tutors and educational tools anywhere, anytime. Includes K-12 subjects, college courses, test prep for SAT, ACT, standardized tests.
- New LifeCare Resource: Access to Care Specialists for 24/7 personalized assistance and online resources to help you with parenting, child & senior care, education, and more.

LegalEase Coverage Enhancements
Marvell will be enhancing our services through LegalEase, which include the below:
- 10 Hours Paid in Full of Miscellaneous Law Office Services - This benefit provides coverage for any non-excluded legal matter not superficially written into the policy. This benefit acts as a "catch all", and any remaining hours would be covered under the already standing benefit of 25% discount off the attorney's rate.
- Elder Law, including in and out of network coverage for Simple and Living Wills.
- Prenuptial Agreements are now paid in full and have out-of-network benefits available.
- Traffic ticket legal defense fees are now paid in full and have out-of-network benefits available.
- Identity Theft Defense has been added as a paid-in-full benefit with out-of-network benefits available.

PLAN CHANGES IN 2022
Changes in MVP PPO Plan
As of January 1, 2022, Marvell will no longer offer the MVP PPO Plan. Employees currently enrolled in MVP will need to choose a new plan with Anthem Blue Cross or opt-out of medical coverage and receive a credit of $250 per month. Please elect your 2022 medical plan during Open Enrollment between October 18 and November 1, 2021.
There is a 100% network match with MVP and Anthem Blue Cross. This will allow you to continue to see your same doctors. To verify that your current doctor is part of Anthem Blue Cross, please visit Anthem’s in-network providers page and follow the step-by-step instructions. You can find additional information about Anthem medical plans, along with instructions on transferring prescriptions to Anthem, by visiting the Anthem page of this website.

Flexible Spending Account Limits for 2022
Maximums for 2022 will be:
- Health Care FSA: $2,850.00
- Limited Health Care FSA: $2,850.00
- Dependent Care/Day Care FSA: $5,000.00
Health Savings Account Limits for 2022
IRS maximums for 2022, including contributions made by the Employer will be:
- $3,650 for Employee-only
- $7,300 for Family coverage (includes the Employee + Spouse, Employee + Children, and Employee + Family coverage levels)
- Age 55 or older Catch-Up contribution is an additional $1,000 per year.
