Gender Affirming Care
Many people who identify as transgender or non-binary require medical care to align their physical appearance with their gender identity so they can live as their authentic selves. While Canada’s public health insurance plans typically cover basic costs, many people often end up having to cover the costs for additional gender-affirming procedures themselves, which can be a roadblock. That’s where gender affirmation coverage through Desjardins comes in — to help cover some of these costs.
